Morphology
Leaves are forked and have different shapes, up to 60 cm long. A single trunk, slender and erect. Sometimes the plant produces inflorescences before developing the stem.
Climate
This palm has tolerated temperatures down to –5.6ºC (22ºF, USDA Zone 9a).
