Habitat
Grows on sandy and lime soils.
Morphology
The trunk can reach around 11m in height and 30 cm in diameter. Leaves usually have a waxy, silvery or greyish underside. Fruits are usually white.
Climate
This palm has tolerated temperatures down to –4ºC (24.8ºF, USDA Zone 9a).

Needs a good drainage. Salt tolerant, but slow growing.
