Habitat
The ravines of the Piramir River and small and dry valleys of the Andes mountains in Central Bolivia at 2200 meters above sea level.
Morphology
The smallest of the genus, no taller than 8 m. Other differences are in the leaves that are dark green and rachis yellowish, and fruits and seeds are smaller.
